Alexander Gerasimov was born in 1955 in Riga and studied at the The Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts in the class of design.
Since 1978, he lived and worked in Leningrad – St. Petersburg. Gerasimov is a member of the Russian Artists’ Union and a member of the Academy of Contemporary Art in St. Petersburg. He also participated in more than 300 exhibitions in Russia and abroad.
